Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORS)

The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series is the evolution of the long standing support of short course racing by Forrest Lucas and Lucas Oil. Steeped in the Midwest tradition of short course off road racing infused with a West Coast influence, Lucas Oil Off Road Racing brings intense four wheel door to door action to challenging, fan friendly tracks. Co-sponsor by GIECO and MasterCraft tools (which had the original series of SCT racing) And the Team Associated SC10, is the Official R/C Car of LOORS.

PRO 4 Series is for 4wd SCTs. PRO 2 Series is for 2wd SCTs. These racing SCTs are 700-900 Horsepower trucks with a total weight of around 4000lbs with the driver.

Most LOORS drivers/teams also run the Traxxas Off-Road Champions (TORC) Series as well. Red Bull and AMS Oil are the co-sponsors for the series. And the Traxxas Slash, is the Official R/C Car of TORC.

Some also run in the Best In The Desert (BITD) Off Road Racing Series. This is more a longer distance Baja-style of racing and trucks are set-up with spare tires and field repair kits.
